Grocery
Whole Foods on Bedford at 4th is the best bet. They have a fabulous assortment of cheese, good fresh pasta, well priced meat and decent produce.
Corner Delis - there is one on corner of 11th & Drigg for last minute needs.
Favorite for produce is Mr Pina on Havemeyer & south 5th - you can’t beat the prices. Great for cheap berries!

Toby’s Estates - trendy hipster coffee shop. Love their avocado toast with poach egg. Great pour-overs. 125 N 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249
Northerly coffee shop - if you are headed to the JMZ train, I love their egg sandwich on Baltazaar roll.

Swallow - barista ran local coffee bar gem. They have great lattes and serve CBC lattes as well. Literally a block and half away. 361 Smith St, Williamsburg
Toby’s estate - see above hipster coffee bar, good breakfast. 125 N 6th St, Williamsburg
Café Beit - great little barista run coffee shop. Feature different roaster daily. Love their quiche! Two blocks away. 158 Bedford Ave, Williamsburg
Oslow - brooklynders love Oslow. Williamsburg
Vittoria - features Brooklyn Roasters coffee, cash only. 166 Bedford Ave, Williamsburg

Casa Publica - hi end mexican done very well. Easy to sit at bar. Tacos are fantastic but pricey. 594 Union Ave, Williamsburg; (718) 388-3555
Five Leaves - great local restaurant with good food reasonably priced. Always a wait unless you go super early. Allow time to put your name on the list then window shop on Manhattan Ave around the corner. 18 Bedford Ave, Greenpoint; (718) 383-5345
Four Horseman - fabulous wine bar limited but good food, reasonably priced. Quite popular, go early to get a seat or stand at the bar. 295 Grand St, Williamsburg; (718) 599-4900

Mirth - this is my favorite everyday vintage and its closeby on Manhattan avenue.
Beacon’s closet - this is a huge resale shop that has great deals on designer wear.
Le Grand shop - fabulous curated high end ladies vintage wear. Say hi to the owner CC!
Monk - probably the most organized reasonably priced resale clothing shop in Brooklyn. Great value on jeans!
